Being such a photographer since the year 2000, for the last view years stationed in Potchefstroom, North West, many couples have given me the honor and responsibility to photograph their special day.
Besides finding the perfect wedding venue first, the second important thing in organizing your wedding is to find the right photographer according to your needs to take your wedding photographs.
Finding a wedding venue in the North West I can recommend a few where I have been the photographer for weddings. Between Wolmaransstad and Klerksdorp there is Buisfontein Safari Lodge and Bona-Bona. Although I didn’t do a wedding at Grootbosch yet, it is also recommendable. Further on near Hartbeesfontein is Thabe Tswene.
Around Potchefstroom is a lot starting with Anderland, Around the World, One Day When, Provénce, Crista Galli, Oudrift Riverside Lodge, Feather Hill, Lyon’s Paradise and La Bohéme. In town there is the Elgro Hotel and Kumkani Country Lodge.
I am also familiar with stunning wedding venues in and around Parys in the Free State in the Vredefort Koepel such as O’s Restaurant in Parys and Kiepersol Wedding Village and Sunwa Lodge in the koepelarea.
A few important facts in finding a photographer you can take this to heart. Book 6 - 12 months prior to the wedding.
The best photographers is booked in advance and if you snooze you loose. You have to feel comfortable with the person, like the person and not the price. Next is quality. Make sure you check out his/her previous work, years of experience, lab being used, paper printed on and also equipment.
Look at the whole portfolio. Photo’s has to talk to you! If you like what you see and and it makes you excited you are at the right place!
